Your data is stored securely, never sold, and used only for the purposes described below. This Privacy Policy explains how Naresonarq LLC ("Naresonarq," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you visit naresonarq.com, naresonarq.app, or use the Naresonarq mobile application (collectively, "the Platform").

2. Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly, information collected automatically when you use the Platform, and information from third parties only where you have authorized it.
Information you provide
- Account data: name, email address, password (encrypted), pronouns, account preferences
- Birth data: birth date, optional birth time, optional birth location. This data is used to calculate your personalized frequency and astrological chart.
- Practice preferences: listening intention, listening focus, sensitivity signals, tradition preferences
- Subscription data: subscription tier, payment method (processed by third-party payment processors, not stored by us)
- Communications: emails, support requests, and feedback you send to us
Information collected automatically
- Device data: device type, operating system, app version, language, time zone
- Usage data: features used, sessions completed, frequency tracks generated, listening duration (aggregated and anonymized where possible)
- Technical data: IP address (truncated for privacy), approximate location at country level only
Information from third parties
If you sign in using Google, Apple, or another identity provider, we receive your name and email address from that provider. We do not access your contacts, photos, or other data from these accounts.
3. Sensitive personal data
Birth data, including birth time and birth location, is considered sensitive personal data in some jurisdictions. We process this data only with your explicit consent and only for the purposes of calculating your personalized frequency and generating your astrological reading. We never use this data for any other purpose without separate explicit consent.
4. Legal basis for processing (EU and UK users)
For users in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, we rely on the following legal bases under Article 6 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK Data Protection Act 2018:

6. How we share your information

- Service providers: Hetzner Cloud (server hosting), Google Firebase (authentication and app infrastructure), Cloudflare (content delivery and security), Mercury Bank (payments), QuickBooks Online (accounting), and similar processors who handle data on our behalf under strict data processing agreements
- Legal requirements: when required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect the safety of users
- Business transfers: in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred. Any successor entity will be bound by this Privacy Policy.
- With your consent: any other sharing requires your explicit prior consent
7. International data transfers
Naresonarq LLC is established in the United States. Our backend infrastructure includes servers in Germany (Hetzner Cloud). When you access the Platform from outside these jurisdictions, your data may be transferred to, processed in, and stored in the United States or Germany.
For users in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, transfers outside the EEA or UK are protected through Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission and the UK Information Commissioner's Office, ensuring your data continues to receive an adequate level of protection.
8. Data retention
We retain your personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy:
- Account data: for as long as you maintain an active account, plus 30 days after account deletion to allow for recovery
- Birth and sensitive data: only as long as you maintain your subscription or active use of the Platform
- Payment records: seven years for tax and accounting purposes (legal requirement)
- Email signups (pre-launch): deleted within 30 days of the launch notification unless you create an account
- Support communications: three years after the last interaction
- Analytics data: aggregated only, retained indefinitely; individual data deleted within 26 months
9. Your rights
You have legal rights regarding your personal data. These rights apply to users in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, California, and other jurisdictions with similar data protection laws. We extend these rights to all users regardless of location.
Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
Correct any inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.
Limit how we use your data in specific circumstances.
Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.

10. California residents (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA):
- Right to Know: what personal information we have collected, the sources, the purposes, and the third parties with whom we share it
- Right to Delete: request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal exceptions
- Right to Correct: request correction of inaccurate personal information
- Right to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing: Naresonarq does not sell your personal information. We also do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If this changes, we will provide a clear "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" mechanism on this Platform.
- Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information: restrict the use of sensitive personal information (such as birth data) to specific purposes
- Right to Non-Discrimination: we will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights

11. Cookies and similar technologies
The Platform uses cookies and similar technologies. We organize them into three categories with separate consent for each:

- Functional cookies: remember your preferences across visits (language, theme, accessibility settings). Optional, off by default.
- Analytics cookies: anonymous aggregate usage data to help us improve the Platform. Optional, off by default.

12. Children
The Platform is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we discover we have collected personal information from a child under 16 without verified parental consent, we will delete it promptly. We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data, including:

- Secure cloud infrastructure with reputable providers
No system is perfectly secure. If a data breach occurs that risks your rights and freedoms, we will notify affected users and the relevant supervisory authorities within 72 hours, as required by GDPR.
14. Wellness disclaimer
Naresonarq is a wellness and personal exploration tool. Statements made about Naresonarq, its sound sessions, or its frequency content have not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Naresonarq does not provide medical advice and is not a substitute for care from a licensed healthcare provider. Always consult your physician or qualified health professional regarding any medical condition or before beginning any new wellness practice.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email (if you have an account) and by posting a prominent notice on the Platform. The "Last updated" date at the top of this Policy indicates when it was last revised. Your continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
